Discussion: The unit 7611 in NW corner of the trench is an infill of a pit which is only in 2/3 excavated because its limits are outside the excavated area. It is well visible in northern section. It is not a forts unit distinguished in this pit - -it is preceded for example by unit s7329- infill and 7330 - cut. The layer is rather homogeneous, so c14 sample has been taken for analysis. During excavations one brick and some CBM has been found. The unit consisted of two layers - upper one was compact and consisted mainly of clay, whereas the lower one was form - silty sand but also with lumps of clay.
On the southern and western edges of the unit on its basal boundary, probably CBM has been noticed. The section of a pit is a good indicator because it shows monostratigraphy. The basal boundary of the unit is arbitrary.
The unit 7611 cut the unit 7655 which also is a pit infill excavated only in 3/4 and visible in northern section.
