Unit 7655
Category: layer dug in 2003
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: pit infill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: The unit 7655 is an infill of a pit which is only in 3/4 excavated, because the remaining part is outside the limits of the excavated area - it is visible in the northern section. The unit is cut by another pit from the west - these are units 7611 (infill) and 7612 (cut). The layer was massive and a square brick has been found in its basal boundary - it is only half visible as a triangle sticking out from the southern edge.
The layer is probably the basal part of a pit excavated in the previous season.
