Discussion: Deposit appears to represent a collapse of mudbrick wall, and as such is similar to (7759) which overlay it. However (7762) appears more coherent and bricks are browner and more readily identifyable, also possibility they have been affected by heat - brown colour? Those on eastern extent particularly so - near interface with ashy deposit (7750).
- suggest a deliberate collapse of wall as room fills overall give a picture of a rapid, deliberate infilling of this space.

Alternatively may be part of F.1352 wall, but badly affected by ashy/burning deposit (7750). 

Recognition: Differs from dep above, browner, more compact, more uniform 

Definition: truncated to N & S (see sketch plan) E edge poorly defined with 7750, W edge abuts wall 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: dry 

Consistency: friable 

Colour: mid to dark grey brown munsell 

Texture: silty clay loam 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: bone, pot, obsidian, stone, v.rare charcoal flecks 

Post-depositional Features: animal & root disturbance 

Basal Boundary: diffuse, uneven
