Unit 7830
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: TP
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: wall/blocking; Material: brick
Dimensions: 1.60 x 0.30 x 0,17
Discussion: It is a mudbrick wall situated in N part of an extension and oriented E - W. It consisted of 1 layer of 3 bricks placed horizonatally. The one on E end of the line had dimensions 25x30x10cm (it could be cut by the limit of excavations) while two others had dimensions 25x35x10cm.
The wall 7830 was the youngest in the sequence of walls surrounding ( from 3 sides) the floor (unit 8986) with a mating (unit 8984) lying on it. The wall 7830 was situated on its S edge and older walls (6952 and 8987) on its W and N sides - these last two were registered as 'same as' because of their relationship to their stony basement.
The oldest of this sequence of walls was wall 10924 on which wall 8730 was placed on the whole width of its N line and partly on its S row (on an approximetely half of its width). The other part of this line was destroyed.
The mating 8984 was backed against the wall 8730 so older than the mating.
The basal boundary of the wall was inclined in E so the lowest differed from 1017.84 to 1017.91 (in its W part).
