Unit 7835
Category: layer dug in 2003
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: pit infill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 1.38 x 1.35 x 0,15
Discussion: This is a third layer of a pit dug into a bigger pit (which is also excavated layer by layer - at this level it is unit …..) placed in SW corner of the trench. This unit has been distinguished because of damaged CBM which had been found during excavation of unit 7691. The layer composed of sand and lumps and lenses of clay (CBM, bricks?) which were concentrated mostly in the middle part of unit (pit). The unit was darker than other units around. The excavation has been finished because a shape of another, smaller pit in W part of unit 7835 had been noticed. Along the boundaries of the unit there were some CBM, orange color and S3 (construction element sample) has been taken.
This feature was transferred to Space 598 in 2015.
Recognition: color, consistency, shape, damaged CBM (bricks?) on the surface
