Discussion: Represents a layer of plaster that has been eroded considerably. A layer of brown packing material was on top of this deposit (8005) and a further packing deposit appeared under this deposit (8007). This series of plaster and packing deposits could reflect various stages of platform repair and replastering.

Definition: sharp contrast in colour, clear and upto wall 102
Execution: trowelled in plan
Condition: considerably eroded.
Consistency: friable
Colour: greyish white
Texture: clayey silt
Bedding: no visible bedding - massive
Inclusions: charcoal (<1cm <1%), plaster fragments (<2cm, 2%)
Post-depositional Features: animal burrows in places, possible root disturbance. Deposit irregular and eroded.
Basal Boundary: sharp, clear (packing material underneath)
