Discussion: small post hole - possibly a reinforcing post for nearby plaster alternatively may be base of ladder entranceway into the house 

 

Recognition: different colour earth, and a packing stone emerging above ground level 

Definition: clear, marked on East side by plaster boundary 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: dry 

Consistency: soft, loose soil 

Colour: liht brown, a little soil slightly darker 

Texture: silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: 1 large stone, centrally placed - 1 large curved stone placed on end 

Post-depositional Features: uneven base; East side butts up to a plastered wall 

Basal Boundary: distinct, flat, rough
