Unit 8103
Category: layer dug in 2001
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: interior wall
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: The remains of an interior wal that was left at the end of the 2000 season on top of a white plaster floor. The white floor extends and "lips up" around the reddish clay bricks. The white floor was the basal boundary of unit 8108. Remains of tan homogenous floor packing and reddish friable brick material that is not always in complete pieces. Between layers of bricks ther were salty deposits which made each layer "pop" off fairly easily. In the northern most part of our wall we recognized the position of bricks (see sketch), white plaster floor goes under the greyish layer which lips up/abutts the brick. The same thing from the west of brick.
