Unit 8298
Category: layer dug in 2001
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: floor and packing
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: 3 dirty black floors and 3 orangish yellowish packings in between all in S corner F. 775 bathtub. These heavily used floors (which might have been plastered judging by their peers further out) could also have been a rake out area, namely for fire installation F. 779 since they look like make-up floors. This means that they are running directly to the rim of this feature, slightly sloping up to it.
S9- shell was sitting directly on floor #4 with its opened end down, covering a small amount of ash.
