Unit 8308
Category: layer dug in 2001
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: floor and packing
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: This unit is the logical continuation of unit 8298, floors associated w/ F. 779. Both units comprise some ashy "floors" (layers) and yellowish packing in between (2-3 layers in this unit). The reason I separated them is because floors of theis unit were made together w/ F. 779 and had to be cut from the oven for removing. These floors could also have ben rake out area judging by the level of deterioation and richness of burnt/charred deposits. Basal boundary is a dirty white floor on which F. 779 is sitting, but it is also heavily damaged. Cooresponding floor going further N will be colleced as unit 8313.
