Unit 8329

Category: layer    dug in 2001

Area: North

Data Category Information: none

Dimensions: 0.43 X 0.09 m (west rim)

Discussion: Rim of the oven F.779 in the kitchen. Yellow sandy clay sitting directly on a dirty white floor. Seen in sketch is this nicely preserved rim (second set of photos also) up to the height of 8cm, turning into what was probably a dome. On the other side there is evidence of make up floors U8303 which were stuck to this surface recognizable only by thin black layers since the material was the same. This would be the explanation how I managed tp cut 3 floors associated to this oven.
