Unit 8330
Category: layer dug in 2001
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: base of oven
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: base of fire installation F.779. Made of different clays and stone inclusions moslty. It revealed dirty white floor underneath as we expected.
S5- scrapings of dirty white floor underneath. S4-7.5 YR 3/2. Looked like filling because dark color cut came to be clay of S3 but tiered which is logical since it's. the highest and thereby the closest to once existing oven floor. S3- 10YR 6/4. Yellowish clay base in the west part of the oven base. Most probably part of base construction (lower parts with stone) and rim collapse. Material is similar, but less sandy than rim itself.
