Discussion: REMOVAL OF THE FLOOR #13 AND ITS PACKING ON THE PLATFORM 1008 IN THE NW CORNER OF BLDG. 3 X1 FIND IS ON THE FLOOR RIGHT WHERE THE PLATFORM FLOOR BEGINS TO BE DEFORMED FROM TE POST - RETRIEVEL PIT CUT.
IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE UNIT A HUGE CONCENTRATION OF OBSIDIAN DEBITAGE WAS DISCOVERED LYING ON THE FLOOR AND IN THE PACKING, WHICH INDICATES MAYBE ACTIVITY AREA FOR CHIPPING STONES.
THE FLLOR I DISTINCTIVE BECAUSE IT IS NOT MADE OF WHITE PLASTER. IT CONSISTS OF MIXED TYPES OF CLAY (RED YELLOWISH). VERY STRONG, WITH SALTS, ASH SOMETIMES UNDERNEATH IT WAS AN ORAGE PACKING VERY STRONGLY ATTACHED TO THE MIDDEN BASE.
