Discussion: Construction layers cannot be discernable as "brick" or "mortar" - see unit 8601.
Once we removed wall 636, we are able to define bricks courses and mortar in between (22.07.2003).
That is why we took one more mortar sample. Mortar is 2-6 cm thick, greasy clay, very greasy I would say. Found a nice frahmented polished stone in dry sieve.
