Data Category Information: none

Discussion: This unit represents the south wall of sp. 89 (F. 761). The wall is slanting from west to east. It lies on deposit of the fill (see u. 8606). The wall consists of 11 rows of bricks and mortar. The bricks are made of sandy clay, light brown in colour, but there are 4 bricks, which are reddish-brown and made of silty clay. They are located in the upper rows. There are inclusions of red pigment (?) in the light brown bricks of sandy clay (given to the conservators with the xyz coordinates).
The mortar is grayish-brown in colour with inclusions of plaster pieces at some spots. It is loose, 6 cm high.
Dimensions of bricks - 80 x 32 x 8 cm.
The bricks of the S wall (F. 761) interlock with the bricks of the E wall (F. 1016) that means they were built at the same time.
While removing the S wall we encountered the plaster inbetween the double wall - F. 761 and F. 1021. It was probably applied at wall F. 1021 but this is still not precisely defined. There is also a spot on the W wall of sp. 89 with remains of plaster (see sketch).
