Discussion: This unit comprises 1 brick in the SW corner of building 3. This brick belongs to an earlier wall which runs underneath the S wall of building 3 (F. 763). The wall does not have a feature number and will not be excavated completely this year. The brick that this unit comprises is excavated in order to uncover the bottom of the wall 1026.
The brick is made of typical beige compact clay like the rest of the bricks in the same wall. It also looks very much alike the bottom bricks of the S wall (F. 763). The brick has flotation sample. The brick wa lying on top of midden and mortar. Below the brick there is middeny material, which was dry sieved.
