Discussion: U. 8867 comprises a cut of a burial F. 1452. This is the second burial cut into the midden deposit, which was difficult to define.
After removal of U. 8865, 8866, 8878, 8879 (burial fill above the "false bottom", mudbrick lining and the "false bottom, skeleton and the burial fill under the "false bottom"), we were finally able to define the outlines of the burial cut 8867. It is almost rectangular in plan, the S side being slightly convex, with round corners and vertical sides. The base is flat. The depth of the cut from the current surface (the mudbrick lining) is 30 t0 36 cm.
