Unit 8871

Category: layer    dug in 2004

Area: North

Interpretive Categories: construction of white clay

Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: burial; Deposition: homogeneous

Dimensions: N-S 105 cm (max), E-W 180 cm

Discussion: U. 8871 consisted of white clay, plaster-like. It is very difficult to define what was it like because it looked quite irregular. It is possible that it is related to the burial cut (U. 8873) - F. 1455.
The unit yielded no finds.
My note (TS). In my opinion U. 8871 is not part of F. 1455 but is truncated by its cut (U. 8873). Therefore U. 8871 is earlier than F. 1455 and has to be below id in the matrix. We were not able to agree on this with Pedja so I leave it like this.
