Discussion: Thnis dirty surface was located to the south of bins F.1426. The surface was very patchy and difficult to excavate down to a clear level. Whilst attemptinh to define a clear division to indicate a different deposit, the probable makeup layer to this surface was probably excavated along with the actual surface and contained large fragments of bone. It seems that the floor surface itself was severly affected by the fire in space 238. Unit 10094 was above 10086 which is the very burnt material probably indiating where the fire started. No surface was identified in this area and all traces of it may have been destroyed in the fire.
