Discussion: this seems to be a pit cut into a floor. This unit fielded alot of bone, some pot., some carbon, in addition to a shell fragment and an iron nail. (found in SE area of the fill) a few rodent holes were found through thr fill. Below the fill is a softish grey and black spotehed soil. The tip of a rock in the NE corner comes out of this basal layer in to the 10212 unit above . The sides of out area not well defined due to mixing probably erosion. It is yet unclear whethwe the basal layer goes underneath the floor surrunding the cut. Most bone not well preserved.
