Discussion: Dense clay/ashy layer overlying plaster lining the depression in the NW corner of house 2. It doesn't cover the whole area - i.e.. at W edge. One of several layers in this depression, this lies entirely on the plaster.

Consistency: compact 

Colour: 10YR 5/3 brown 

Texture: silty clay
