Description: Floor surface consisting of very thin, fugitive later of plaster on a solid clayey make-up layer. There are several floor layers, and some lower ones are coming through in the dips and breaks. Surface slopes from E to W, abutting W wall of house, and seems to be bounded on N end by vertical plaster c. 5.5cm high, at roughly the place where a blocking section was built in the west wall. Undulating and damaged surface. [levels on plan 1040]. 

Discussion: The floor surface in house 2 was chosen arbitrarily from any floor surfaces as one to aim for!
