Description: Fast track 

 

Discussion: Cut of possible niche located within plaster surface F1502. Clearly visible on removal of room fill (10404). Fill - accumulation or back fill uncertain, removed to reveal depth of niche to be 0.06m due to anmal disturbance and abscence of plaster surface lipped up to the feature. It doesn't appear to be the case and so this cut represents some sort of removal/destruction event. Possibly of removal of a bulcrania pillar?
F1508 is a similar (and better preserved 'niche' to NE on upper plaster surface F1501. 

 

Recognition: Visible beneath room fill (10404) as abscence of plaster surface.

Sides: Vertical - disturbed at south.
