Description: Fast track 

 

Discussion: Compact floor surface seen after the removal of floor surface (10411). Some areas laminated in bedding with other areas coming off in fairly tabular clumps. Obvious where next unit began. Truncated by erosion, so thicker towards platform to the east. 

 

Recognition: Seen after the removal of floor 10411. 

Definition: Defined by platforms F1501 and F1502 to E, and truncation to N, S and W. 

Execution: Trowel and brush 

Condition: Dry 

Consistency: Loose and friable 

Colour: Light greyish brown 

Texture: Silt 

Bedding: Mainly massive but laminated in places 

Inclusions: Bone, pot and obsidian 

Post-depositional Features: Animal disturbance 

Basal Boundary: Clear
