Description: Fast track 

 

Discussion: Plaster surface comprised of make up plaster with thin skim of top of finer plaster, which has been worn away on western part of platform. Platform slopes to south and east - subsidence?
Plaster lips up against wall F826 and extends ip it in places for 5-8cm. But patchy. Also lips down over western edge of platform to provide facing. Also lips up over edge of NE platform F1502 and is continuous with surface (10451).
So, episode of plastering - major event as plasters over both NE and E platforms. 

 

Recognition: Plaster surface beneath (10460). Extends over platform F1502 

Execution: Trowel and brush 

Condition: Dry 

Consistency: Friable 

Colour: Light greyish white 

Texture: Silty clay 

Bedding: Layered 

Inclusions: Common chaff, bone and odsidian 

Post-depositional Features: Animal disturbance 

Basal Boundary: Sharp, clear/distinct
