Discussion: levelling deposit prior to construction of hearth surface (10618) F.1313 Primarily a yellow clay silt, with a few inclusions. However a quern fragment a rub? Stone and a rub? Bone were within the make up preparation. It seems unlikely these entered the make up without the builders knowing. NB. These finds were not on the floor of the oven itself
