Unit 10628

Category: layer    dug in 2004

Area: South

Interpretive Categories: levelling

Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: building; Material: pise-like; Deposition: homogeneous

Discussion: difficult to see this one as it was/is in a dirty area of the burning- however it would appear to be the remnants of the demolition of the lower oven as much of this mixed material had been burnt. Presume this deposit would have continued over the oven to the South but was layer removed when cut (10624) was inserted for oven sequence of F.1313
