Unit 10675
Category: Cluster dug in 2004
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: pot cluster in rubbish bin
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: scoop; Material: pottery; Deposition: primary deposition
Discussion: Pot is laying at apparent edge of the rubbish bin - it is a lot more broken up than the other pots which have coming up, unless it is much bigger and it is in more pieces.
Very broken up, looks like it may have been dropped and broken that way, with something inside it? Is lying stratigraphically on top of another pot, pieces may be confused/muddled upwith each other. Soil below is much darker, not the orange/grey of the rest of the rubbish pit.
