Unit 10699
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: rubble scatter
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: floor (packing only); Material: mortar; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: This seems to be related to te rubbih deposits - no finds, but is same consistency as some fallen debris nearby in the pit (although it looks different) It came off nicely onto the platform layers, and doesn't appear to be related to the platform edge.
Later can interpret this as a replastering/repair job done to the bench followin erosion of trample damage
