Discussion: DISCUSSION: Post - occupation pit cut (level VII), respects the walls to the east and north and cut to west by Mellaart's limit of excavation. Unknown function - fills imply slow accumulation. Mellaart. records platform in this corner - could this cut be associated with a platform ?(Shahina). "Actually, see (1075) - fills occur in several layers with a thick plaster dump between 2 middeny strata. This is therefore not just gradual build-up, but an element of episodic dumping." (Naomi)
