Dimensions: ca 2.40m x E-W, 3.40m x N-S x 0.30 - 0.40m depth 

 

Discussion: Backfill in space 112 (Mellaart shrine 9) post - Mellaart excavation. Mostly comprises of erosion as opposed to deliberate Mellaart. backfill as other spaces. Loose or friable silt - heavily rooted. Overlies Mellaart. horizon of apparently level VII floors - very patchy and heavily disturbed. Taken up to northern limit of excavation. Dry Sieve Information: Not dry sieved but may have hand picked finds
