Description: removal trucated floors and features as left from the 1960s excavations FAST TRACK
Discussion: This unit represents the truncated remains of bits of floors and features as left in the northern room of building VII.9 in the 1960s excavations. No clear floors or features were recognized, apart from two truncated bin like features and the remains of a plaform. These have been drawn on 004/900.
After the removal of the floor and feature remnants a fill deposit was encounterd, that will probably mark the final pre-floor construction in this area (unit 10819).
A bone fish hook (x1) was found in one of the raised plaster areas left from the 1960s excavations, which is possibly a feature remanants (not on Mellaart plan, 1964, fig. 11). This fish hook was thus found above the level of the floor (see drawing 004/900).
Stratigraphically the earliest floors can be related through a raised plaster step (unit 10815) to the earliest floors in space 112 to the south(unit 10806).
TDV is derived from dims.
