Description: cut in center of the north platform of s112, burial cut 

 

Discussion: large and deep cut in southern extant part of space 112, in the center of the north platform of this space. The level from which this cut was dug could not be established, but cut 10811 was found immediately after the removal of the weathered isolated floor patches left in the 1960s (floor 10806). 

 

Recognition: from southern section / distinct fill matrix 

Definition: not easy to define, but am confident about outline 

Execution: mattock and throwel 

Condition: hot 

Shape: ovoid 

Sides: 90-60 

Base Break: 45 

Base: flat 

Orientation: east-west
