Unit 10830

Category: Cut    dug in 2004

Area: South

Interpretive Categories: arbitrary cut

Data Category Information: Description: burial

Description: arbitrary burial cut of feature 1709

Discussion: This cut was defined on an arbitrary basis, no differences between the fill matrix 10831 and the surrounding matrix 10812 could be discerned, and no edge could be defined.

At the time of cutting the pit for burial 1709 the earlier skeleton 10814 was disturbed, and some of the large bones of that individual were stacked along the edge of cut 10830, in the center of which skeleton 10813 was placed. The association between the skeletal elements of both skeletons is very close, with some elements of 10814 below and other above those of 10813.
