Unit 10970
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: layer
Data Category Information: Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: It is a layer distinguished in NE corner of an extension. From W side its boundary was defined by a wall (unit 7827), its S boundary by a line of plaster (unit 10981) and most of its E boundary was defined by a cut (10952) of a pit with a kiln (10914).
The S part of the unit was more bricky (which can be seen in plan 04/840) and in the basal boundary of the unit in its N, W and S parts orange/light brown bricks appeared and between them a dark, compact bricky layer was placed.
The unit was located underneath a platform/floor (unit 10902). The basal boundaryof the unit was slightly sloping to the N - in the N it was 1017.6 and in the S - 1017.66.
