Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: external; Material: brick

Discussion: This is eastern wall of space 248. Its southern part goes beyond southern wall of space 248, which indicates existence of another room south of this wall, contemporary with space 248.

The wall consists of three courses of mudbricks. Upper course is considerably destroyed making brick measurments difficult. The only measurable bick in this course had the following size: 62x56x8 cm.

Brick from the second course had the following dimentions (starting from the north): 98x44x8 cm, 60x47x10 cm, 45x41x9 cm and 45x43x8,5 cm.

Bricks from the third (lower) course have the following dimentions( starting from north: 54x42x10 cm, 42x52x11 cm, 42x44x11 cm, 43x37x8 cm, 42x43x10 cm, 58x43x8 cm.

Bricks are made of well sorted material and have a lot of chuff and very little sand fraction. Bricks of the lower course were probably moulded. Bricks are placed on a clay make up layer. At some places individual bricks seem to be linked with western wall of building 34.
