Discussion: This is an infill of a pit situated in N part of an extension - in its W part. It cuts a floor (unit 10988) by its N boundary and from the E side is cut by a large pit - infill 7825.
The infill contained lots of pottery and especially CBM - of which a big amount was found at the base of the pit. At the bottom there were also many fragments of pottery.
The basal boundary of the pit was defined by the consistency and inclusions (CBM + pottery).
The cut of this pit was registered as 10990.

Condition: hot, dry, windy 

Consistency: firm to friable 

Colour: dark grey, brown, dark brown inclusions of ash 

Texture: silty sand 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: pottery, bones, obsidian, CBM

Basal Boundary: distinct, concave
