Discussion: plaster re-surfacing over probable grave, under another plaster re-surfacing (11226). On excavtion found that stratagraphically over plaster layer running to west and partly lying over orange brown probable make up layer on esat side. Layer increasingly thick towards north and east appeared to be butting against plaster of the 'pilaster'.

Recognition: recognised when brushing after removal of 11226, slightly brown and rougher surface than plaster to west

Condition: dry, easy to see in morning light and overcast

Inclusions: occasional small fragments of bone, moderate small grit
