Unit 11245
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: South
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: posthole; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: My assumption is that this has been deliberately backfilled as the cut is probably a posthole cut. Quernstone right at the base. Think that maybye when 11241 was removed whatever it removed and was backfilled then the post was taken out at the same time. Possibly the grave cut had body removed at the same time (if thi s theory is correct. 19/7 stone at base which I lest in for now as it seems to run beyond the limit of the cut. Cut ahd good rdges so don’t know if stone rammed in or cut went down until it hit stone.
L, W approximated using CAD. V approximated. T.C.C. 20-07-09.
Recognition: Roddy thought that there was a cut here, I definitly realised it was when planning (11243) and could see that fill coming of edge of plaster
