Discussion: layer came off onto a material almost identical inclusions, but a shade of grey, not the soft orange mudbrick texture of this layer. Seems to be another layer of rubbish to level off the top of the surface before the first good layer of plaster went on.

Definition: indistinct at platform edge, very clear at back. 

Execution: trowel, hand mattock 

Condition: dry 

Consistency: compacted but fine 

Colour: orange with lots of darker (charcoal?) inclusions 

Texture: fine silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: lots of burnt lumps of soil and charcoal and bone 

Post-depositional Features: animal burrow 

Basal Boundary: clear, distinct, smooth
