Description: Fast track 

 

Discussion: Course of mudbrick making up part of bench F1503 on N face. Some plaster was noted, also on removal of bricks some plaster patches noted between the bricks - this may suggest these bricks are reused?
Bonding material was noted between bricks and below course in varying thickness - 1-2cm approx. Dark brown clay uniform in nature.
Packing deposit (11331) between (11309) and wall F826.
So part of bench make up, overlies another course, possibly reusing bricks from another/earlier building.
