Discussion: Hard to say what this was. May have been original build up for hearth F.1336 as this was burnt along its northern line - it may be this has ben truncated by a sequence of later features. Anyway it was below platform F.1314 and above 'room' fill

Consistency: compact, friable when broken 

Colour: mixed white to yellow brown

Post-depositional Features: animal burrows, a bit of scorching on material 

Basal Boundary: lear, distinct, flat
