Discussion: this unit is the lower level of 11859 and 11855.there are too many inclusions in it.chaorcoal pieces, whitish small particles, burned kerpiç, normal kerpiç pieces etc.soil is very compact an clay.I think this place is an open area .we find two in situ bone pieces of which one is the vertebra of a huge wild cattle.
The whole unit/level seems like a living surface with compact soil and many finds as obs, bone, pott. but it is also well posible that it is the eroded soil of the top/upper levels of the settlement towards sw-due to the slope.the third possiblity is-midden area;however it is different than the usual middens of çatal!
