Unit 12120
Category: Layer dug in 2005
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: pit fill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: pit; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: "Pit" was visible as separate fill which was greyish with only small inclusions and some charcoal. Cut was not distinct and after excavation we think layer is probably part of room fill. May have been extension of 12115 which was not visible on original surface. Some fill probably associated with this unit was not excavated because it extends into building's south wall, which we did not want to undercut (south boundary of unit).
Plan 05/518 is of the unit after excavation. Plan 05/524 is of the unit before excavation.
