Discussion: Another lens of burnt fill directly above floor on W side of SE trench, space 70. This and previous unit contained ground stone. Dry Sieve Information: Unknown if any dry sieve, possibly 10L

Texture: Ashy sandy loam 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: brick 10%, <3cm; clay lumps 2%, <2cm; charcoal 2-5%, <2cm

Unit description: Sample 275 >4 mm. flotation sorted and recorded completely. Mostly burnt scrap with some manganese staining. Some scrap is heavily weathered. Scraps appear to be predominantly sheep-size. Sample 282 >4mm flotation sorted 100%, recorded completely. Smaller sample, all little bits of scrap, nothing over 1 cm. Mostly sheep-size. Some burning, rather weathered, no coherence. Looks like floor. Last number = 21
