Discussion: This is a 4th layer in a sequence of layers in southern part of an extension - below southern part of wall 10982 and its make-up layer - unit 12234.
The layers above 12271 were excavated as units 12254 (1st), 12258 (2nd), 12261 (3rd).
In the southern part of basal boundary some traces of wall appeared - quite irregular but its highest part reached the height of 1016.99 while in northern part of the basal boundary was at level of 1016.95 therefore the heights ranged from 0.13/0.09 m.
