Discussion: Arbitrary unit consisted of 4 parts, a top charcoal lens which locked a lighter grey lens which overlay a dark greenish brown silty clay. These were removed as one unit. A charcoal lens was also evident under the grey material in the corner at the end of the extant wall F1533. This was also retrieved in the unit. A strong red rubbly layer was revealed under this. C.f., unit 14322
Total volume deposit calculated from plan with an estimated depth of 0.12m taken from levels. Not known whether dry sieved this cld be estimated from quantities of finds. CAH 18/12/09.
