Discussion: Cut of rectangular pit. Cut well defined at East and higher up, but to West and with depth it was very difficult to distinguish - especially as it was cut into very mixed and loose midden deposits. The cut was also very disturbed by animal burrowing. As such the exact shape and extent of the cut at the base is uncertain. It may also have been slightly overcut. 

Recognition: cut clear to East. Poorly defined to West 

Definition: Well defined to East, poorly at West and very poor with depth 

Execution: trowel and shovel 

Condition: Dry 

Shape: rectangular 

Sides: vertical - undercut slightly at East 

Base Break: uncertain - seems gradual 

Base: uncertain - seems flat 

Orientation: E-W
