Discussion: Burial Cut of burial recognised and assigned unit numbers in 2003. Skeleton 8764 lifted and fill 8763 fully excavated previously. Mud-brick lining and cut re-cleaned and re-excavated. Assigned duplicate numbers. Cut 12646=8765. Lining 12647=8790.
Feature 1236 is truncated by 12642 = 8794 - the foundation cut of the 'annexe' to Byzantine building 41.
Base of cut is unclear as cut through mixed deposits.
