Discussion: Area of soft red brown material representing an insitu area of burning probibly a hearth of fire. The depth of the deposit sugests a high temperature and/or repeated firing. Recorded as being within cut [12915] however the matreial is in fact same as surrounding deposit but has been subjected to high temperature and discoloured and degraded.
Above infill of B60, in the same location as the B60 hearth, this could represent another building was above but has been completely removed/truncated. (MWH 2010)
